Poncho (Chile)

This is a Poncho. It is dated 20th century and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is wool and its technique is warp-face plain weave patterned by warp stripes and warp ikat. two strand twining on groups of warps at each end of neck slit. neck slit is in the warp direction formed by discontinuous weft. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Clara Waldeck. It is credited Gift of Clara Waldeck.
