Hanging Panel, Many Mansions

This is a Hanging panel. It was designed by Mariska Karasz. It is dated 1950–59 and we acquired it in 1993. Its medium is cotton, linen, rayon, wool, acetate, silk, rabbit, nylon, cellulose acetate butyrate film laminated aluminum yarn (lurex) and its technique is embroidered. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mr. Oren Brown. It is credited Gift of Oren L. Brown in memory of Julia Lukas.
